    Why do you act like Donkey Kong 64 was a bad game? It was extremely well reviewed, fun as hell, and looked great. Yet I always read how much this site dislikes it... I think you guys have heard some strange things, because people love that game.

    Donkey Kong Country 2 is by far my favourite game of the SNES generation. It still looks fantastic, plays amazingly and has THE best soundtrack. Fact. I play it every year, like a good book, just to remind myself how mind-bogglingly fun it is.

    I remember playing a demo of DKC back in the day and being impressed by the graphics, but not the gameplay for some reason. It took several years (mainly because I didn't have a SNES until 2001) for me to really appreciate DKC, and the character in general. Now the 4 DKC games as well as DK '94 rank among some of my favorite games. DK64 was probably my first real intro to the DK universe, but, as mentioned, the amount of collectibles was so insane that I got burnt out on the game long before I ever finished it.

    Only completed Super Mario World on the SNES a few months ago. Think I might download a few of these, place them on one my SNES Flash carts and try playing them on original hardware sans any tool assists. Better start writing my obituary!
