It is funny how every one is so damn passionate about pieces of software. My bad though. That foot is tasting tasty though 8)

Shame, although, as long as this game is kinect exclusive, I couldn't really care less. I love Panzer Dragoon Orta for the Xbox, but frankly, I don't see kinect doing the controls for the game any favors.

Voice activated features are quite handy and best of all very unintrusive, but as others have pointed out the same effect could be achvied with a headset, Microsoft need to be working much harder if they ever want me to purchase a Kinect. In their defense I did think some of the Forza 4 Kinect features sounded interesting, so I guess at least one franchise is finding some use for the hardware.

Save your money. I've yet to find anything that uses Kinect in a manner that makes games work. The headtracking in Forza was my main reason for getting Kinect and it simply doesn't work well. There's plenty of lag and you basically have to become a statue while playing. Scratch your nose and you're looking to the side. It's just not worth it.

So why can't they do that with just a headset?
oh right, gotta justify the existence of the add on..

Ok i completely understand the bitching we all do over the kinect/wii (u)/ ps move, it can be ridiculous. but i mean we go batshit defensive when people complain about graphics saying "gameplay over graphics!!" until our heads explode. but nintendo pioneered it, sony copied it and ms improved it. completely new forms of gameplay and what did we do?? BITCH and COMPLAIN about how unnecessary it is and (especially in the early days aimed at nintendo) complain that they should improve hardware, graphics and keep the general controller and gameplay design. i do understand that generally sony/ms/nintendo went about it the wrong way, (except mostly awesome first party wii games) I'm just saying. we're fickle pricks who love to complain... while talented and ingenious people get smashed for trying things different with current hardware..
P.S. come on vitaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! 8p

Glad I was not the only one who watched that press conference and said, "Does Microsoft think everyone owns a Kinect?". I don't own one and am actually still on the fence about it, I just don't like the assumption that all Xbox gamers needed was one E3 of Kinect being rammed down our throats and something like 6 months (give or take) of the hardware being on sale for everyone to adopt it. It would of been nice to know if the new dashboard updates are going to still be accessible to those of us without Kinect or if we are going to have to adopt one to keep up with the biannual updates.

I have absolutely no intention of buying a Kinect. I wasn't convinced when it first came out and they haven't done anything to convince me that it's worth buying now.
The only "motion control" I like is using a mouse or trackpad.
If the next Xbox is going to use this annoying technology then I hope the next Playstation doesn't because I don't want to be forced to accept this stupid piece of equipment into my life.

People seem to be making a big deal of the "hands free" controls, one guy in particular. I see no merit in it. I would never use it anyway. There is nothing wrong with a keyboard and mouse. I would much rather just use my computer than boot up my PS3, even though this is about XBOX that I don't have. The PS3 browser isn't the greatest, but the had...since the beginning. I used it when I didn't have my own computer, but now that I do I haven't used but maybe once or twice. This announcement to me was, "Really? They still don't have that? It's about time. Kinect? Why? Whatever."

A lot of things need to go away. Star Wars. Silent Hill HD. That IGN reviewer who gave the Silent Hill HD collection a raving 9.0 and didn't bother to mention any sort of problems. Wah.

This game had so much potential, but because it wasn't coming out at the time of Kinect release (in fact, quite a bit of time later), I sold my Kinect (and made money too o_O weird). I now read this review, even though it's positive, it still just doesn't look like that good of a game.
Maybe for a bargain bin game, but 40(?) bucks for a mediocre Kinect game that was basically supposed to be THE game that made the Kinect worthy - This isn't good enough...Even on its own, a small compilation of 'decent' mini-games doesn't add up to something worthwhile if it costs more than 10-15 bucks.
