      Being honest with the press about why you do what you do. +1 of the things that Gearbox are doing right. On the other hand, it'd be nice to have the option to play the game on another console, even if it's a direct port with nothing OMGworthy. Guess it's just not worth it business-wise, oh well.

      Why does every developer insist upon adding some sort of stupid gimmick to wii/wii-U ports? Haven't they broken and destroyed enough otherwise fine ports with stupid wii-specific nonsense? Isn't the idea of releasing a good game to as many people as possible a good idea anymore? The challenge is there, but if the game is just as good on all systems it's released for, there's the prospect of more profit. Why leave a perfectly capable system and a load of prospective buyers and fans in the dust just because you can't come up with some half-assed unnecessary minigames or something stupid like that? It seems utterly counter-productive.

      Sorry, if any sensitive gearbox people are reading, I love your game, but seriously, if you could slightly buff Torgue guns so they are as cool to use as they are to look at, that would be neat. Nothing major against Torgue guns, just that that digistructing a new gun in your hand after you throw it and it explodes seems to indicate infinite materials creation ex nihilo is possible in the borderlands universe and thereby negates the reason that any of the other stuff in the game happens.( you could say that about the vehicles but I always assumed the matter to create them was in a base block owned by Scooter or something)

      Cmdr Steele has a "strike resemblance to the sirens" because her model was the original concept for Lilith. They redesigned Lilith but didn't want to scrap her old concept so they applied it to Steele. Source: Tested the original game for Gearbox and heard it from a contact there.

      Page 19 "It brutally murders Steele before the four Vault hunters promptly lay the ultimate smackdown upon this horrible creature, which spews a ludicrous amount of purple guns from its gaping, dead maw." DID YOU EVEN PLAY THE GAME? It drops almost nothing... it drops around 5 white guns and some ammo. It even does it in playthrough 2.

      For a guy named 'Handsome Jack', he doesn't seem to be all that handsome. t least, not as much as me. I'm liking his personality though- which is always what borderlands has been about, I suppose. That humour and charm unique to each character. One thing I noticed in this was gun NOISES- the assault rifles and stuff, to me at least, sounded a lot more 'realistic'- that is, more like they sound in modern shooter kinda games like Battlefield or CoD than they did in the last Borderlands. But that might just be me.

      "Ripoff Station" - Well...At least it's honest? XD At about 1:06 - I spot at least 3 oranges. A probable sniper. Certainly looks lightweight, with no clip, certainly not one big enough to stick out? As well as what appears to be an Assault rifle (with knife attachment for bonus melee damage) and Shotgun. Plus a fair number of Greens, Blues, and some purples. Loads of whites as well. Guns are definitely more distinctive this time around. Will be much easier to tell what a gun is in BL2. It seems they've taken BL1's standard of having the rarer stuff stand out more even further in this game. The whites were masses of grey mostly, and the higher up in rarity they went, the more colorful and/or original the guns looked. 3rd person seems almost definitively confirmed now. I don't think they would have put in that view the way they did if it wasn't.

      I ALWAYS want new IPs, but I'm very content with the same IP as long as it freshens itself up, or it just insanely good in my opinion. But, I can see where Yves is coming from. It's hard to invest yourself in a new IP, especially one that may or may not have sequels and especially one that lasts you a long time, whether through multiplayer, collectibles, or you just plain draw it out, knowing that there's a whole new generation of consoles waiting for you, with resources barely tapped. Still, I don't entirely agree. A good, new IP is a good, new IP. Not everyone is going to buy the Xbox 720 or PS4 (and especially not the Wii U) Day One, so you have to think about that large majority who just simply can't throw away a few hundred bucks.

      I agree and add on the fact that at the end of a generation is when you have the largest base of potential consumers with the consoles in their hands so you have more potential sales so long as you get their attention you have the potential to have more sales then the rest of the generation and more sales until the nest gen gets itself underway. Also ad in the fact that even when you come out with a new Generation the people who can afford it like myself just don't chuck our old consoles away my original Xbox got quite a bit of play even after I got my first release Xbox 360. I mean what else are you going to do when your waiting for the games you want on the new console Answer- Play with the old one.

      Oh, there are so much more than these two. Sure, they've been delayed a bit, but this isn't some DNF here. And remember SSBB? It got delayed within a week of its release, then I'm pretty sure it got delayed again before it finally came out. Then there's H-L 3 (don't even get me started), MGS:Rising (now Revengeance), Kingdom Hearts 3, and The Old Republic have seen or are still seeing longer delays than this. Nevertheless, this game looks sick. I'll have to wait to see if I can afford the CE when it comes out, but I've got plenty of time.

      I haven't played them yet, but aren't the Mario RPGs made by Square Enix? Also Dragon Quest VIII was made by Level-5, I think. Also Persona 4 Arena is getting quite a big hand off to Arc System Works doing the game now, with Atlus themselves doing the story.
