Ill keep this short, what happened to the "ask gr" thing, that actually tought me stuff i wanted to know. I just hope this disorganized, ill thought out, lazy "ask us stuff about us and we may say stuff back" isnt your equivalent of that. If so, for shame.

Hope I'm not too late here... I play video games just to get away from the stress of real life. The teenage life is great but with the parents fighting and friend circles and getting a job and all to deal with it's nice to go away to some fantasy land where that doesn't happen. I guess that's why I never cared for realism in games either, I'm trying to get away from that.

Following on from the startling revelation of Mr Towell being a closet Pirate lover in last weeks podcast, can you recommend some good pirate related games? Is that Lego PotC game any good, what about those Port Royale games? You can skip Sid Meier's Pirates which I already own 4 times - Original Xbox, PC, Xbox 360 (Original Xbox Download) & iOS. Cheers, hugs and kisses for all.

With the painfully fresh wound still open from Englands pentalty shootout loss to Italy at Euro 2012, What video game series cant you help yourself getting excited about even though you have had your heart broken on countless time and there is no chance that it will have changed its ways and reclaim former glories.... Mine would be Sonic.... I cant help getting a twitch of excitement when a new one is released even though they have utterly dire since about 1994... I mean screeching Guitar sound tracks and big the fucking cat is almost as bad as Ashley Youngs penalty last night!

Do you think Nintendo has its priorities straight right now? They eschewed Fire Emblem: Awakening at their multiple E3 conferences, only to announce it via twitter during that same week. Now we found out in the last Nintendo Direct the game, which only needs localization work to come to the West, won't be available until 2013. Amidst a slew of casual Mario and dance titles, why does it seem like Nintendo is putting next to no effort into games for its grassroots audience? Thanks a lot, keep up the good work on the site.

The lack of comments here are disturbing, keep up the hilarious work chaps! And just for shits n giggles, Microsoft would dominate E3 next year if they announced their new console and have a Blinx the Cat reboot be the only launch title for it.

Hello there team first of all e3 was as big a let down as Prometheus. When I was watching nintendos conference I had a thought about wii u that no one has addressed as far as I know, you know Nintendo are stating that if for some reason you are denied playing wii u on a tv you can play it on the gamepad screen, well wouldn't this make alot of the Wii u's capabilities and selling point redundant? For example if for some reason you've waited to play arkham city on wii u unlike everyone else who played it last year maybe you wanted to wait for some terrible armour for batman and catwoman, how would playing it only on the gamepad work? cos if you play it on a tv the gamepad is your inventory would ii just go to a menu button or zombi u when you can see zombies behind you on the tv and your suppose to type a code in on the gamepade how does that work only on gamepad? Seems stupid that you'd lose all dual screen functionality would some games just not be compatible at all with gamepad screen only play? It would never be a problem for me cos I'd never not have access to my tv but it would seem silly that one of the selling points they're pushing would make the systems main feature redundant. Also do you think ubisoft employ complete wankers to present they're conference to make Their games look better? You can't wait for them to shut the fuck up and show a game any game clever marketing ha. Great show guys unlike this years e3 xxx and one more incase you have a guest. P.s. the new enemies in halo 4 look like a gameloft rip off of halo enemies shite!

Most people here have already voiced my thoughts, but I'll throw my bonnet into the E3 ring anyway. Nintendo conference felt like a missed oppurtunity. They could have blown everyone away with some awesome Wii U stuff (HD Zelda anyone?) but instead it all felt kinda ho-hum. I was excited about the 3DS stuff because I luv mah 3DS and I want some sexy new games for it (FF6 remake please! Or a new Zelda!) but it was mostly just stuff we've seen before. I'm not going to pretend I have a huge interest in Microsoft stuff since I don't own a 360 so I'll keep this brief: Kinect = Still looks shite. Smart Glass = Why? As for Sony, I'm still confused and scared regarding the unknown fate of The Last Guardian. It was one of the main reasons I bought a PS3 and I was really hoping it would make a comeback at this year's show. The Last of Us looks really sweet and its fireballed to the top of my WANT list. Playstation All Stars Battle Royale still hasnt gotten me excited in the lower regions. Even if Bioshock's Big Daddies are in them. I guess it still just feels like Sony's own Smash Bros rip off. PS Vita: dear oh dear. Sony really need to get their act together on this one. I've already mentioned that I love my shiny 3DS to bits, and aside from Persona 4, Sony still havnt given me any real reason to splah money on another handheld. At least Assassins Creed: Liberation looked good on Vita. Watch Dogs could potentially be brilliant, but its only the graphics I can say for sure amazed me. s for the gameplay, I'd need to get my own hands on it to decide. Sqeare Enix's new tech demo was nice, but Squeenix games always have stunning graphics anyway, so it wasnt telling me anything new. Show me some actual games Square! The standout for E3 was the new footage of big games like Resi 6 (explosions!), Ass Creed 3 (ships!) and the new trailer for Castlevania Lords of Shadow 2 (Begbie!) All in all, it was an okay E3, but it suffered from a lack of anything new, revolutionary or exciting. A big fat 7/10 for E3 2012. :P

Another great 'cast lads. I think this new format of having a guest is really working well. Kudos to Matt Castle and his Nintendo happy fun times musings . Two great podcasts in a row have had me laughing like a mentalist while I'm out jogging , I'm getting some funny looks from passers by. Anyway , My favourite "Castle" would have to be Roy. Dedication, whoa - oh , dedication ,dedication's what you need . If you wanna be the best and if you wanna beat the rest , dedication is what you need . If you wanna be a record breaker. Wise words from the trumpet playing , tap dancing maestro.

My favourite castle is the castle (Or rather, the castles) from Angry Birds, because it's like an analogy for mankind's constant efforts to break conformity and organisation, and fight 'The Man'. The birds represent freedom and ideals whilst the castles represent the overbearing world in which we live, and the rules and regulations that uphold it. The pigs then represent the people who are high up in the world - the politicians and the lawyers and whatever - who are then crushed beneath the weight of the constructs they have built. Also because I like to smash things.

Playing my 3DS while driving. With the 3D pushed all the way up. Right up. Actually, I haven't played any game I'm guilty of. I used to play Animal Crossing in bed with my ex. She thought I was mental. So I guess that counts. I would tell her all about the stuff I had collected. Ha ha. Sigh. I am 45. All the best chaps. Moo.

Awesome podcast as per usual :) As for worst gaming peripheral, it'd probably be my loud-as-fuck Desert Eagle light gun. Everytime I fired a shot its built-in recoil made a slamming noise that thundered through my entire house. Through the walls, it apparently sounded like I was doing heavy-duty DIY rather than playing a game. I had to get rid of it after ruining too many episode of Eastenders for the folks downstairs :(

The 3 weeks I spent waiting for a custom end for my PSP's analogue stick having lost the original one. The blood blisters had to filed off and I didn't touch Everybody's Golf for about a year after that, I was too scared. Either that or my PS2 Dualshock which after a while only wanted to go downwards on the left stick, making GT4 and FIFA games a little tricky.

The CDi 'rollercontroller' It looked like something from a 60s scifi movie and was impossible to play anything with. I know it was aimed at small children but it seemed like every shop that had a CDi out for you to try used this contoller, no matter what the game was. I remember trying to play a violent anime-style shooting game using baby's first joypad. Very strange.

My favourite gaming facial fungus is the Gen 4 abomination Probopass. It's not there to be a good wall, it's not there to be useful to the player, it's not there to enhance your experience or add the ___pass evolutionary line. It's there to be "THAT POKÉMON WITH A TACHE". And it sucks at that, it looks like they took a Nosepass (not a looker to start with) and shoved a hat and some tinsel on him.

Good podcast chaps! I always love it when there's a guest intern since this typically involves some sort of list pertaining to their first or last names. Ben's 10 and Skipper's level skip were good, but I think the beard is the new king of lists! =P Regarding the Random Name Game, I have to say I've never been particularly fond of this section, and would agree with Matt and say it's time to move on; all the other segments are awesome, however (even Joke Factory!).
