      I haven't played them yet, but aren't the Mario RPGs made by Square Enix? Also Dragon Quest VIII was made by Level-5, I think. Also Persona 4 Arena is getting quite a big hand off to Arc System Works doing the game now, with Atlus themselves doing the story.

      Now I have been and always will be a fan of capitalism in it's truest sense (whreas OWS parasites can suck it), which is why I think DLC is especially out of control at this point. Quite plainly, developers are throwing EVERYTHING at the wall to see what sticks as this relatively new medium finds it's footing, and our wallets are going to be doing all the talking. Horse armor? Biggest joke ever, as Bethesda quickly learned. $15 map packs of MW? Incredibly steep in my opinion, but clearly plenty of CODers disagree to Activision's delight. DLC for stuff you can eventually unlock anyway? Fine by me, but that's just me and likely you'll never see me go there, but I see no reason that wouldn't work for others or be considered unfair in any way. Cheats DLC? See "horse armor", except the verdict is still out. Clearly developers think that they can get customers to bite on any/all of this, otherwise they wouldn't have gone through the effort to do so. And before you say "they've got nothing to lose", trust me, I'm sure the likes of Capcom and Activision understand just what a bad reputation can do to business. Or at least they should, and if they don't our wallets - the ultimate messangers - will tell them loud and clear. So unlike the anti-LFD2 crowd that cried "boycott!" one minute only to clearly have bought the game the next, don't whine. Don't complain. Just don't bite. When DLC fails miserably, they'll start asking why and we'll be happy to oblige. But screaming about how DLC is unfair while that very DLC skyrockets revenue-wise isn't going to change a thing. And who knows? Maybe I think cheats DLC is crossing the line but if enough people bite then clearly the developers knew something I didn't, at which point I say more power to them. Developers can charge whatever they want for whatever they sell - no one should take that right away, because the power ultimately lands in the hands of the customers. We ultimately dictate what DLC will stand and what will fall. Bellyaching is nice and all but it won't stop anything if this (or any questionable DLC) meets or exceeds a developer's financial expectations. So everyone should in all cases put their money where their mouth is. And stop abusing the term "boycott". Deciding not to buy is not the same as a boycott! I'm not blaming anyone on this thread but Christ am I tired of seeing that term thrown around so haphazardly, and I can smell it on the horizon within the context of this very topic...
