There needs to be more strategy involved with the actual gameplay. So far all I've seen in COD as far as strategy is just what perks go good with which guns and that sort of stuff. They need to put good routes for striking objectives head on and side routes for flanking and the games where stealth is a good idea, like S&D (if it's coming back). Yes, they already have those, but if it was used in a more unexpected way, it'd be more than just another tunnel or pathway down the side of the map. Kinda like the secret places on Highrise in MW2.
Also, I think if they did the character customization, they could have clan colors/clothes like a sports team (only real world example I can think of) to distinguish the different groups, to make your clan stand out from the others in battle.
About the 10 points thing, I'm not sure if it's a brilliant idea or an utter failure. If guns cost the same amount of points depending on class, It wouldn't work as well as it would if the more points for the later unlocked. It really depends on how they implement it in-game, if it's legit that is.
One last thing, I don't know if they develop them at different times which would effect release dates, but if they can, they should release all DLC at the same time. I play on PS3 and I (and I'm sure many other people) hate waiting an extra month for map packs. And I'm also sure that PC players hate waiting even longer for theirs.
