This is definitely encouraging. With all of the initial PR that has come out for these two games so far, I must say that I'm excited. I don't think that Madden or NCAA really need a ton of new features. They just need a lot of refinement. I'm not expecting these games to be perfect this year, but I'm hoping/guessing that the game will take a step forward as far as gameplay tweaks that fans have been requesting are concerned.
Fresh blood definitely energizes things and it can give these games new life to an extent. It is still a one year cycle, so I don't think anyone should be going to nuts about it. But yeah, really positive piece. I hope people will look at this article and feel a little more optimistic about these games.
