Pandas are childish and light-hearted, but this expansion is still brilliant.
The questing, end-game content, storytelling, and in-game art in fantastic, if not the best we've seen yet. They have finally embraced the stylized art of WoW and used it to its best potential. The Pandaren are super stylized, but it works really well. The first time you encounter a Sha in the Jade Forest, it is beyond any world-ending dragon in terms of scale.
The game is worth checking out, especially for long time WoW players. I had my skepticism going into this Expansion, but the opening quests leading into the new content was breathtaking (a giant air to ground battle with the Horde and Alliance? Brilliant) and the rest of the game followed suit.
The Pandaren and Pandaria were conceived for Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne well before Kung Fu Panda first released (prior to that if you count the April Fools Joke). If anything, Kung Fu Panda ripped off Warcraft.
Besides, if you think this expansion is too light-hearted to try, I have to say it is probably the darkest expansion I have seen yet. They go into very touchy subjects such as suicide and political morality within the several quest storylines (without being "preachy" might I add!)
Overall, this is the most polished expansion yet, and I've been around for four launch nights now.

I'm being sarcastic by the way.
I don't know if they actually thought this was a good game or they just said, "Why don't we go the route of Diablo III and just make some crap they don't need but thought was going to be awesome. We're Blizzard, hell we print our own money!"

I am really looking forward to Heart of the Swarm. I was disappointed when the announced that it would have only 20 or so missions instead of the originally planned 30 missions per installment that they talked about when they said StarCraft 2 would be separated into three parts. Hopefully it won't be delayed to long into 2013.

I'm just jazzed about the multiplayer additions. Adding 3-5 units and a few changes to each race doesn't sound like much, but it's pretty huge. It'll definitely rejuvenate multiplayer for a long time.

No offense but a company that is making close to $1 billion A YEAR, should be able to put out games and dlc a little faster, and finished(yes Diablo I am looking at you).

I stopped playing a few weeks ago but I saw my friend playing with a wizard yesterday. I'm not sure if this is what they were talking about but all he did was max crit chance and had the passive that reduced cooldowns by 1 second with every crit hit. He was then able to permacast diamond skin and stationary tornados and was completely untouchable, even standing in Gram's poison clouds in inferno a3.

After logging over 100 hours on my barb and getting a wd up to 60, I really haven't had a reason to get on play. I don't feel compelled to at all. But I've already gotten that much play time out of it. It just sucks that unlike D2, I'm essentially done playing it.

Aww but I thought that April Fools joke was really cool. I would play a Librarian hands down. But the only real class I could think of that wasn't mentioned already is a Succubus/Inccubus as Control/Illusion/Execution classes

What about a half corrupted angel? One that didn't get fully converted to demon. He would be an outcast from the high heavens, but would want to fight for his place back in the holy land. Even if he has to take down the prime himself.
