Soooo, does the radio frequency thing apply when talking about Bluetooth too? I believe the 360 controller uses RF and the PS3 controller uses Bluetooth. So does that operate at 2.4 gigahertz also? Or is Bluetooth different like that? And if not, how IS it different?

As far as I know, there are a few different kinds of Bluetooth tech. Some of them use simplified wireless connections at the standard 2.4ghz, but some others use infrared light waves like a remote control.

Question: in Infamous, Cole dies if he falls into water - the explanation given is that he's electric, so presumably his body would fry in water. But the very fact that he's electrified (that, and the fact that we frequently see him sucking the electricity out of appliances) suggests that he's completely immune to damage caused by electricity. So, technically, shouldn't he be able to swim while electrifying everything in the water within a mile radius?
Also, if that's not the case and he actually would die if submerged in water, doesn't that mean that he'd never be able to wash?

Kirby uses energy very fast like The Flash so he has to constantly eat. Within a few seconds of swallowing an object, it starts dissolving in his stomach acid, so he can't regurgitate it anymore. He can store multiple items in his stomach because the food dissolve so fast, it turns to compressed liquids and turns into nutrients through his body quite quickly.

Not sure if this is confidental information or not, but this IS 'Ask GR Anything'.
How does the GR staff randomly choose a winner for a contest? Is there a method to the madness? Names in a hat? A robot? Spin around three times and put your finger on the computer screen? Put all the names on a dartboard and throw a dart?
Thank you!

Yes! I want the Pokemon answer too! And what does a pokeball look like on the inside? Why would a virtual Pokemon god accept itself to be trapped inside a 10 year-old's pocket!? It's gotta be cozy in there.

I had always wondered what made the lightsaber up as a child too. After a while and little understanding of the sci-fi inner-workings of the saber i could not figure it out(I allways assumed it was a laser :S ). With my ongoing knowledge of the sciences i made different theories but never one that fitted the star wars version. I just stopped thinking about it, After a while i assumed that its just a movie/novel idea. A real life application of a similar technology using either electricity or laser, was to have a small pole running the length of the blade and having the anode on the end/tip allowing for movement as described above, i saw it in a different MMO as a lightning sword. Assuming the future advancement in nano-carbon tubing i think it is possible to have a hair thick pole extending the length of the saber to catch the laser light/electricity? .

Ask GR: Why doesn't the XBOX 360 sell well in Japan? Is it xenophobia? Is it because Nintendo and Sony are so entrenched in their home country? Or is it some simpler reason, like a lack of good homegrown games?

Question: Why does Nintendo keep changing its D-Pads? The GBA had a clicky pad as did the DS. Then we got a soft pad made for better circular motions. Then, we got a clicky pad which looked more like the soft pad. Then we got a squishy, not clicky pad which isn't precise and isn't good for circular motions. Why is the 3DS d-pad so awful? It's too low and it's not good for anything but menu selections.
