      I must make sure my mother never knows. One of the best parts of switching back from Droid to iPhone was not getting constant texts from my mother asking why I had not made a move on a game that is basically an Android online version of this. If she learns I can now play with her again I may have to turn my iPhone back in for some basic flip phone. Objectively Im glad it is going to Android. Fun well developed app.

      A simple solution, make developers put a simple 2.1, 2.2,+ on their apps,and add the ability to search the android app store by OS version (different sections for what each OS is capable of running) almost like PC games have XP+, Vista+, and soon 7+

      so? their argument is pointless, because companies still make games for PC, which is the ultimate in hardware fragmentation. Apple has that problem as well, since they have older models of the ipod touch and iphone that can't even run the newest iOS. google could get ahead by having the android market check the specs of the user's device before they buy an app, then telling the user if their specs are up to par or not. on a side note, android phones can generally be overclocked (i'm not so sure about iphones)

      This article makes me miss my Android. I used to play a ton of Abduction and Radiant. After a while you needed at least an Arm-7 processor just to keep up. And Angry Birds used to descend into a slide show once the first bird was fired. Upgrading my PC to play newer games, I'm fine with. My really expensive unsubsidized smartphone? Not so much....

      I knew of replica island, but not of most of the others. I've been looking for a decent Tank Wars game as well, which the armored strike game should do well. My favorite game though is called atomic bomber. It's a simple fly a plane and drop bombs and nukes on invading russian forces, but very arcade like. Simple and not much to it, but I love it. It's kinda addictive.

      Basically, Gameloft is the person who gives a starving man a Big Mac. Sure, the starving man will appreciate it, but it's still a greasy Big Mac. Or rather, to be more accurate, Gameloft is the person who gives a dehydrated man a glass of piss. Sure, the dehydrated man can technically drink it and it fills the "void," but it's a bloody glass of piss! Just because there's not much out there doesn't mean you have to settle for crap. If the normal price for quality games became $30 in the App Store, we'd have more games from professional developers, and of much higher quality. But, no, people just can't get enough of their $.99 Angry Birds. *sigh*
