      I wonder how many people are gonna be surprised when they buy this game and it isn't all about killing redcoats, freedom and 'Murrrica!!' Also, what's the bet that when he says "maybe one day this country will be free" in the ad, he means free from the templars, rather than what the ad is using it for, ie drumming up more patriotic furore from its target audience.

      What annoys me is that subtle evolutionary approach towards civilizations. The entire game vibes of "it all comes to this era and part of the world", as if the States are the ultimate stage of human evolution or something. Social darwinism is crap btw. Sociostructuralism 4ever. Anyway, I am a hardcore fan of the series since 2007 so these little things do not affect the fact that I am going for the collector's version. Still, I will have to wait 20 days for my share of 1750's Boston! What's with Ubisoft and the PC market anyway? When will they grow up?? From what I can tell though, the wilderness part of the game as well as the naval battle maps were created to compensate for the fact that the two major cities of the game are actually pretty smaller than the cities we are used to.

      Not quite, the combat is limited on the ship part, the boarding etc. is automated, same with City / Pirate Bay Conquers, i have to say, the autobattle button is very usefull and i made a shit ton of money and trade goods with it, just by hunting down pirates, the merchant string brings, in longer games, quite some micromanagement between, "facilities", farms and trade routes, and in order to build in different cities you have to get a reputation level, wich makes a good bunch of things to do.
