Symphony, award-winning indie music game, release date announced with beautiful trailer

The gorgeous upcoming music game Symphony was a big hit at the 2012 Indie Game Challenge. While it didn't walk away with the grand prize, it still snared victories in two out of five categories (technical achievement and the GameStop Digital Download Award), and it's easy to see why in this new trailer.

We're going to have to buy some new music if we're to enjoy this game. Each level is uniquely generated from a song in your music library, and we're only allowed to listen to Bjork at GamesRadar HQ (it's sort of a last-one-still-sane-is-allowed-to-stay situation.) Which probably wouldn't go so well in Symphony.

Nevertheless, we're excited to give this highly interesting new indie title a spin when it releases on PC on August 6, 2012 for a piddling $9.99.
