  The 2011 Comikaze Expo hits Los Angeles this weekend. The event is hosting the first ever Super Mario tournament in downtown Los Angeles.
  
  Players will compete in Super Mario World, Super Mario Bros 3 and Mario Kart. Prizes include a Comikaze Expo grab bag, and the opportunity to prove your mario bros skills in a major public venue.

  Penguins in The Desert Productions are back with their 4th video game marathon. To date the group has raised approximately $12,000 for their local chapter of Big Brothers Big Sisters.   Paul Gale Network just revealed the 6th video game themed pumpkin (from 2003) and it's of Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros. 3. This ongoing series is leading right up to pumpkin #13 which will be revealed on October 31st.
