Sundance 2011: Sons Of Anarchy star Charlie Hunnam talks Kin

Sundance 2011: Charlie Hunnam Liv Tyler The Ledge

Charlie Hunnam, former Queer as Folk star and current Sons Of Anarchy badboy, has been quietly building a strong career stateside, with several high profile film roles in the works.

The Newcastle-born actor is at Sundance to promote his new movie The Ledge, in which he stars opposite Liv Tyler and Terrence Howard as a man contemplating a deathly plummet.

Chatting with Total Film ahead of the screening, Hunnam also revealed details of his next project Kin .

Directed by The Counterfeiters ' Stefan Ruzowitzky, it's set to begin shooting in two weeks and Hunnam will star opposite Eric Bana and Olivia Wilde.

"I play a fighter who's getting released from prison, who tries to redeem himself a little and have a bit of a catharsis with his estranged father.

"But then he encounters Eric Bana who's this bad guy on the run who's taken my parents hostage," he tells us.

"It's like an unstoppable force meets an unmovable object," he adds. "Bana and I get to go head to head in a really exciting way which is awesome for me because I'm a huge fan of his.

"To go toe to toe with him is pretty exciting. It's me versus The Hulk!"

Obviously feeling buoyed by his current success, Hunnam pulled no punches when we asked who might come out on top in such a fight;

"You'll have to wait and see. But I have a sneaking suspicion it'll be me..."

There you have it, Charlie Hunnam, Official Ledge.
