The Wire actor Idris Elba is looking to put together a movie about the life of basketball legend, Michael Jordan.
"I am trying to make that happen," he told IGN . "Michael is a very private guy, but we're working at it slowly.
“The film that I'm trying to make isn't about the actual basketball, it's about the business. Michael Jordan is such a big international brand - how do you make that happen?
“How do you make that happen as a sports star? The brand has done so well for years.”
Elba isn’t sure whether he will star, but he intends to be behind the lens on the project. Despite this, our resident Wire fan Jamie Graham gave two thumbs up to the idea of him playing Jordan, so we’d recommend Elba gets in front of the camera for too.
