Calling a film Trainwreck doesn’t exactly sound like the smartest move. You can almost see the headlines now if it’s anything but perfect.
Still, that hasn’t deterred Seann William Scott and Gretchen Mol, who have just signed up for the film, which is based on Jeff Nichols’ memoir.
The story tells of Nichols’ life dealing with his learning difficulties and alcoholism, as he tries to work out who he is and how he’s supposed to deal with it all, when nothing seems to be working.
Tod Harrison Williams is calling the shots, and plans to start filming next month in New York.
