Star Wars: Knights of The Old Republic review

  • Fantastic Star Wars story
  • Superb voice acting
  • Dark or Light - your moral choices decide
  • Or just pick an allegiance at the end
  • Minigames can be frustrating
  • Item collecting can be redundant

The turn-based action masquerades as real-time combat, which makes it look exciting without feeling overwhelming. It’s a snap to get the hang of the interface, which allows you to pause, queue up attacks for all of your teammates, and then let it play out - or you can control one character and let the AI handle the rest.

If there were ever a recipe for success, it would be capturing the Star Wars feel and combining it with a first-rate storyline and excellent, accessible RPG gameplay. Knights of the Old Republic is a must-have title.

This is in one of the top ten games i've ever played (others include MW, MW2, BC2, GW, and GW2) and the only RPG.

This is still fun after 5 years.

@FNG if those are your top games, i highly doubt your ability to choose good games

I'm playing this game for the first time over Christmas break, and I have to say, wow. Just wow. Aside from the insufferably stupid friendly AI, I have no complaints. So epic.
