Lately, Kickstarter has been a hotbed for projects that would otherwise go unfunded by publishers. Point-and-click adventure games have been largely ignored in this part of the world, but that hasn't stopped veteran game designer Jane Jensen (Gabriel Knight, Gray Matter) and composer Robert Holmes. Together they recently launched a new studio, Pinkerton Road, and have allowed fans to determine which game they would be working on first if their campaign gets funded in time. As of this posting, their campaign has another $60kish to go and 21 more days.
For Gabriel Knight fans, if this project goes well, there is a very high chance that there will be a remake so if you haven't backed it yet, you should! What's interesting is that one of the reward tiers includes having Robert compose an entire track just for you, or a loved one. Tune in to learn more about the campaign and listen to some of Robert's compositions!
