The Mass Effect series wouldn't exist and be where it is today if it weren't for the massive pool of talented people behind it. The music team is no exception. We had a chance to chat with several of the composers from the latest score to get their thoughts on the music, how they got involved, how they approach composing, and where video games music is headed next. You can follow the composers on Twitter as well, @SamHulick, @sonicmayhem and @MonarchAudio.

At this time, the soundtrack is only available if you purchase the collector's edition of Mass Effect 3.

    Best musical score of the series. Never was a fan of Mass Effect 1 and 2's soundtrack, but 3 had an excellent soundtrack.

    Okay, I heard that the soundtrack was available to people who bought the Collector's Edition, which I myself did. Incredible game, with an epic musical score! But at the risk of exposing my ignorance...Where exactly do I get that soundtrack from? It wasn't in the collector's edition box and there were no such instructions detailing where I could get it from.

    It's a digital soundtrack, so I assume something should be in there. Otherwise I'd check with EA/Bioware or the place you bought it from.

    I bought the CE as well, and was able to download the soundtrack. You should have received a leaflet in the metal container that the game disks come in, that says "ACTIVATE YOUR ONLINE PASS" at the top. There are two codes on this leaflet, you want the one at the very top (the code on the bottom unlocks From Ashes). Activate it according to your platform (mine is the 360 version), then log on to your social.bioware.com account, register the game, and download the soundtrack. See if that works for you. If your game didn't come with that leaflet, then, well, that's a whole other problem.

    1. link you mass effect copy with your bioware/ea account @ social.bioware.com/ use the email address you've used to link you gamertag to EA 2. Then go to Games>Mass Effect 3>Soundtrack 3. Download the file warning it's around 700Mb and are .Wav files you'll also need 7-zip(I recommend personally) or winrar 4. then play them etc Pretty poor way imo they should of maybe had a mass effect themed memory stick with it already on instead of the other crap we got. But otherwise a goo soundtrack, not as good as ME1 or 2's but the "i'm pround of you" is prob the best in the whole series
