In the tradition of Mortal Kombat and Tekken, the Soulcalibur (or SoulCalibur, or Soul Calibur) series has taken head-to-head fighting and transferred it to a brawler platform. The track record of such efforts has had mixed results, so we'll just have to wait until November to see if this one can pull it off. In the meantime, you can tickle your optic nerves with this still-warm batch ofscreens.

But wait... who's that swiping dragons from the stage of history? It sure does look like Llyod from Tales of Symphonia. Could this be a sign of more cameo appearances? We'll have to wait and see...


My new approach to play all games on Hard mode straight off the bat has proven satisfying. Sure there is some frustration, but I've decided it's the lesser of two evils when weighed against the boredom of easiness that Normal difficulty has become in the era of casual gaming.
