SOCOM: US Navy SEALs will see big changes when the military squad-based series hits Sony's next-gen console, according to comments from developer Zipper Interactive.
The PS3 version will be "a pretty drastic departure from the current game," Zipper senior producer, Seth Luisi, told Official US PlayStation Magazine.
We won't see any concrete info on the next-gen sequel until the E3 game expo this May, where many of the PS3's titles should be aired in preparation for the console's worldwide launch at the end of the year. For our part, though, we're hoping to see SOCOM beef up its already-enjoyable online gaming, perhaps with more cooperative and team-focused match types.
