Sleeping Dogs dev United Front lists job on next-gen game

Sleeping Dogs developer United Front Games may be working on a game for the next generation of consoles, if a now-altered job listing is accurate. The listing (via CVG) originally called for a network programmer to "to work with our online team to develop the multiplayer features of our next gen console title," and remains available at the moment thanks to Google's cache.

The page now only mentions "console titles" in general, and goes on to list the requirements for the position. We aren't aware of any announcements from United Front about in-development projects, other than maintaining Sleeping Dogs and LittleBigPlanet Karting.

The first Sleeping Dogs had no multiplayer features other than its Social Hub, though some form of multiplayer would be one logical inclusion for a sequel. Given United Front's past titles, which also includes ModNation Racers, it's equally likely to be a next-gen, user-generated kart racing game.

Long before that, I started pursuing my degree in video games by bugging my older brother to let me play Zelda on the Super Nintendo.
