Grasshopper's Sine Mora skipping PSN, now an XBLA exclusive

The Xbox 360 is now the only home for Grasshopper Manufacture and Digital Reality's shooter, Sine Mora. In its official announcement, Digital Reality confirmed the time-warping shoot 'em up will skip Sony systems, and be published by Microsoft Studios exclusively for Xbox Live Arcade...

Sine Mora was orginally marked for release on both XBLA and PSN platforms. That was until today, when Digital Reality issued its Xbox 360-exclusive statement, and a message was posted on the game's Facebook wall, proclaiming, “Breaking News! Microsoft Studios is proud to announce that Sine Mora is coming exclusively to XBLA! :)”

Described as a “diesel-punk” side-scrolling shoot 'em up, Sine Mora mixes traditional shooter elements with modern visuals and mechanics, and is being made to appeal to both the hardcore and casual crowds. It also has the benefit of being influenced by Grasshopper Manufacture's Goichi Suda—aka Suda-51--who has been the driving force behind other creative cult titles such as Killer7, No More Heroes, and Shadows of the Damned.

This is the first of two titles to come from Grasshopper Manufacture and Digital Manufacture current collaboration. The second, an odd-ball Kinect title called Diabolical Pitch, is also expected to arrive soon after Sine Mora sometime this winter.
