Section 8: Prejudice gets new Assault mode for free

Section 8: Prejudice players on Xbox 360 and PC have collectively reached 10 million kills in the past two weeks. As a reward for the feat, developer TimeGate Studios has released a brand new mode for free. The official description for the new mode follows:

Assault is a team-versus-team game mode where teams race to capture all Control Points in the fastest time. While in the attack round, players must work together to capture all control points. During the defense round, players defend their bases for as long as possible. It’s a fast-paced mode that encourages close cooperation with your team and unwavering focus on the goal of capturing or defending the base!

Unlike the original Section 8, Section 8: Prejudice was a download-only title marketed as a high-end budget shooter and sold for only $15 dollars. Section 8: Prejudice received a warmer reception from critics than the original, earning an eight-out-of-ten review on GamesRadar.

In addition to the new Assault mode, Section 8: Prejudice fans can also look forward to a Game with Devs session on Xbox LIVE this Sunday, May 15, starting at 5pm (Eastern Time).
