Jurassic World looks set to boost its human cast with a pair of new names, with reports suggesting that Vincent D’Onofrio and Irfan Khan are in line to join the film’s ensemble.
The Wrap claims that D’Onofrio will play the film’s human bad-guy, who presumably will play some role in unleashing another wave of dinosaur-based mayhem.
Meanwhile, the report goes on to claim that Khan will play a character named Patel, the billionaire owner of a new Jurassic Park. They never learn, do they?
Should they officially sign on, D’Onofrio and Khan will join a cast that already boasts the likes of Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Nick Robinson and talented youngster, Ty Simpkins.
Colin Trevorrow is in place to direct the long-awaited sequel, with Steven Spielberg producing alongside Frank Marshall and Pat Crowley. Jurassic World will open in the UK on 12 June 2015.
