Rule of Rose

[PS2] Little girls get creepy in a new batch of screens

It's often said that kids can be cruel, but Rule of Rose is possibly the first game to make that its central theme. When it's released this fall, the 1930s-era horror game will cast players as Jennifer, held captive by a group of creepy, sadistic little girls on a power trip. In the meantime, you can get a taste of the evil by checking out our new screens.

What we've seen so far of Rule of Rose looks pretty eerie, and the new shots only add to the dark atmosphere. To get a glimpse of the homicidal kids and a bizarre, flying whale-blimp, just hit the Images tab above.

After graduating from college in 2000 with a BA in journalism, I worked for five years as a copy editor, page designer and videogame-review columnist at a couple of mid-sized newspapers you've never heard of. My column eventually got me a freelancing gig with GMR magazine, which folded a few months later. I was hired on full-time by GamesRadar in late 2005, and have since been paid actual money to write silly articles about lovable blobs.
