When you start the game and go through a little bit you'll run into a rock and it gives you letters and the word to get through the rock is ELROND.

This is not a code but it is how to get the key in Dale. When you enter the city you will find gates go in the opposite direction of the gates until you see two rows of bushes. using you walking stick hit the bushes and quickly run forward over the one you hit then do the same to the next row. the key will be under a rock. This works with all bushes.

WALKING STICK CHARGE ATTACK:
Hold B until you see a circle around Bilbo when you release he will do a rollout attack for a lot of damage.

TROLL'S KEY:
The troll's key is found at the bottom of the screen in the room with the trolls,by the wall.

EASY FOOD:
Go back and forth through a screen defeating the enemies until you are satisfied with how many you got.

DEFEATING OCTOPUS:
throw rocks till its weaken hit it with your stick till he falls and do it repeatedly till it's dead.

When you get to Beorn's house, find everything in there and then go back to the main room. You will take a nap. The next day Beorn will say you are allowed to go outside. Go outside and then go to the top left corner. Keep walking until you see Beorn. Go up and talk to him. He will say you need to get a bug out of his garden(your time starts after you are done talking to him). Walk a little bit to the right and you will see a garden with a bug popping out of the ground in different places(you are only allowed to use the normal not so powerful walking stick). You have to stand still until the bug pops out of a hole and then hit him with your walking stick. Do this under the time limit ten times and you get the more powerful Knobbed walking stick.

Use your thunder cannons and rocks first. Do not attack him while he is throwing rocks down it will not affect him. Sooner or later he will not stop throwing rocks and that is when you can attack while he is throwing them. It is possible to get in there and use your sword so don't be shy.

To beat the spider boss you have to take out its multiple eyes with stones or your sword. DODGE it's spit or whatever it is while trying to get its eyes.

When you're in the cave with the 200 tentacles there's a big heart in the back that supports all the tentacles (this is before the spider level) and you have to kill it with stones (preferably your thunder claps or sling) while trying to take down the tentacles so you can get room to get it.

When you're in the Mirkwood Kingdom you have to put on your ring constantly- THERE IS A PART with a dog that can sense you- unknown how to get past him. But, there has to be another way. Run around with your ring on (DONT TAKE IT OFF because if you do the elven guards will throw you ALL the way back to the beginning of the level; NOTE: YOU CANNOT HURT ANY GUARDS) End.

First, as soon as you get to the three dwarves by the ruins, go to where you see the big door and climb up. Next, move the stone onto the outline in orange.after that bats will automatically pop out from behind you. kill and finish climbing to the top and make sure you get the levers.open the chest, and find tinder and flint. go out of the ruins, and go to the dwarve down at the south. go left once your down their until you see lite blue water. go thrugh it and now start going right. youll go east for a while and then go south once your at the entrance to those ruins.go up a ways and to the right. use the tinder and flint. go back out and go straight across. figure your way through their and go back out. go thru the open door at the top and open the chest. get back to thorin, ( white beard dwarve), and put down thunderclap in front of the wall. Ta Da!!

NOTE: make sure to stand back when you put down the thunderclap!!!

When you wake up by the bed first go to the door in the bottom right and use your tinder and flint to light the basin and push the book case to the right and walk inside finish that place and leave the room and then go to the bottom left and repeat the opposite.
Leave there and go out the door. Go Left and Up and talk to berin use your walking stick to kill the bug(you cant use sting so don't try)after you kill the bug Berin will give you the knobbed walking stick and leave afterwards go down then right two times and talk.

When you reach the final boss, here is how to kill him. Stay near the edge of the bushes in the middle on the right to protect yourself from the arrows. When he moves, move to the bottom middle of the screen. When he charges, get out of his way. When he chases you (At the beginning or near the end, I can't remember!) Throw darts at him when he stops to attack with his sword. Then four waves of goblins and wolfs will come, kill them the you win!
