Reminder: Final Fantasy XIII-2 demo is live on PS3 and 360 today

Final Fantasy XIII-2 has been on long road from a surprising announcement almost a year ago to its January 31 release date. It’s passed many milestones, including a Japanese launch and too many trailers to count. Today marks one of its last goals before launch: an English-langauge demo is now available.

Downloadable on PSN and XBLA today in the US, the demo takes place in the Bresha Ruins, which is one of the first places the protagonists Serah and Noel end up when they jump through time. It’s an unpleasant future, filled with abandoned buildings and a monstrous time anomaly known as Atlas. In one of our playthroughs this boss fight was pretty tricky. We’re curious to see if this segment gives you readers the same trouble.
