THQ digs up new Worms game

Worms: Open Warfare sequel heading to PSP and DS in July - but THQ isn't spilling any details beans. Yet...

THQ's PSP and DS Worms game Worms: Open Warfare is getting a sequel, which currently carries the catchy name Worms: Open Warfare 2.

Mention of the follow-up has appeared in a new THQ release list, which says that both handhelds will once again be receiving the warring-wriggler action and that Worms: Open Warfare 2 is due to release in July - information which THQ confirmed with us this morning.

But that's all the company's confirming at this stage. When pressed for further details, a THQ spokesperson kept their lips well and truly sealed. As soon as we get new information, we'll let you know.
