Warhammer 40,000: Squad Command

Following the successful launch of the PSP Essentials range back in May last year, Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) has revealed a number of titles that are set to benefit from an even greater price reduction. Originally launched as a wallet-friendly £9.99 range, a selection of PSP Essentials titles are now available from only £6.99 on PlayStation Network.

On the 23th of november game publisher THQ will launch Warhammer 40k Squad Command for the sony PSP. To celebrate this launch a very limited psp will be availible, and with limited it really means limited, only TWELVE (12) copies will be offered world wide. This psp is fully handmaded and can only be obtained trough different promotions.

Strategy Informer has the newly released Warhammer 40,000: Squad Command demo for the PSP avaliable to download. In this demo you can take command of a squad of five Space Marines, as well as a heavily armoured Dreadnought.

THQ has announced Warhammer 40,000: Squad Command for DS and PSP - the first time the series has appeared on either machine - and it's looking like a surprisingly explosive game. It may be a turn-based strategy affair at heart, but any fears of limp combat look to have been laid to rest by the first screenshots. The game will feature online network play on both handhelds when it arrives this autumn and publisher THQ assures us the most has been made of both consoles' respective strengths.
