Sony Computer Entertainment America Inc. today announced the release of SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Fireteam Bravo 3 available exclusively for the PSP and PSPgo systems.

PS Blog writes: We're just two weeks out from the launch of SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Fireteam Bravo 3 for PSP and we've got some big things to share with you. Today, IGN ran the first review and exclusive first look at the launch trailer for SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Fireteam Bravo 3. We're also happy to announce that a SOCOM Fireteam Bravo 3 demo will be available Thursday, February 11 for download on the PlayStation Store. Get a taste of the enhanced single-player gameplay, or assemble your own four-player fireteam in the new co-op via Ad-Hoc with a playable campaign mission from the game. The multiplayer trailer is also included to give you a look at the full multiplayer and infrastructure co-op features for SOCOM Fireteam Bravo 3.

Pocket Gamer writes: SOCOM US Navy SEALs: Fireteam Bravo 3 will deploy January 12, the game's producer has confirmed. Originally slated to roll out this month, the game has been pushed back to the start of the new year as part of a renewed marketing push.

Socom Fireteam Bravo 3 on the PSP has been delayed until 2010. The only reason provided was due to global marketing issues - to allow time to get the word out to everyone.

WorthPlaying contacted SCEA to find out if it planned to match the PSPgo Rewards program announced by SCEE this morning and was told that Sony had no plans at this time to match the European offer. There hasn't been any announcement yet that there will be an equivalent rewards program for North America...
