Crikey, we thought, our breakfast hasn't even settled yet.

Fortunately, we haven't actually been press ganged. The package is just a neat, thoughtful way of delivering some ...
When life gives you lemons, make lemonade. Thats what developers seem to be trying to do these days as they attempt to capture the visceral action of first-person shooters on the PSP despite the fact that it has only one analog nub. Zipper Interactive sure has brewed a tasty shoot ‘em beverage with their release of SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Fireteam Bravo 2. Its a bit sour at times, with a somewhat awkward control scheme (but only somewhat awkward, which is an improvement), but goes down ...
SOCOM, the military-themed shooter series that launched online gaming on the PS2, is once again headed for stores on Nov. 7, this time with a two-part attack. Hitting simultaneously, SOCOM: US Navy SEALs Combined Assault for the PS2 and SOCOM: US Navy SEALs Fireteam Bravo 2 for the PSP would be a dead heat in a longest-title-ever contest. But more than that, they'll sync up Sony's console and its handheld like never before, featuring parallel storylines that can change on one platform depending ...
Tuesday 9 May 2006
Last week we brought you the first news of the PSP version of SOCOM, but now we have the screens to back up those words.

Released today from Sony's pre-E3 conference, these shots show just what the SEALs can expect from the ever-changing landscape and terrain seen throughout Bravo 2's 14 levels.
America's most effective semi-aquatic killers are set to return to both PSP and PS2 this fall, but so far Sony hasn't said anything about the long-expected PS3 version.

SOCOM: US Navy SEALs Combined Assault is the full name of the PS2 version, which will combine a brand new four-player co-op option with the usual 32-player deathmatch mode. Improved stat-tracking and chat functions will streamline the online experience, while the solo mode will also be enhanced with three new classes of ...
