"Some may argue that the PSP games library is filled with PS2 ports. Those people are wrong. In fact, it's the PS2 library that's filled with PSP ports! Joining games like Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror and Ratchet and Clank: Size Matters, it appears Secret Agent Clank will be receiving its very own PS2 port. GameFly currently has a listing for a PS2 version of last year's stealth-inspired platformer. Considering the developer's track record, a PS2 port seems quite inevitable."

Playstation.Blog writes: "The great thing about the Ratchet & Clank universe being such a diverse and creative place is that you can take something like a robot-spy-themed game and it fits perfectly in. Our Designers do such a great job of helping the Environment Artists visualize the world that on Secret Agent Clank we started with a brainstorming meeting between the two departments.
This consisted of the Designers saying something like "We would love to see Clank stealthily going through a Rio de Janeiro-esque carnival level," and as the creative types we are as Artists we would say "that's neat but how about a Space Circus?" Secret Agent Clank
PlayStation 3 title Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction from Insomniac Games has just been released recently. As you all know, another entry in the franchise will be coming in 2008 to PlayStation Portable gamers in the form of Secret Agent Clank.
The Sony handheld title is being developed by High Impact Games. Now, we know fans of the franchise have dreamed hundreds of times before if the two titles will have some sort of connectivity or "talk to each other", as Sony lovingly calls it.
Well, you're dreams will be coming true according to Insomniac Games Creative Director Brian Allgeier. MTV reported on Allgeier's statements, "There are some less apparent bullet points to note about Tools of Destruction. It will connect to the 2008 PSP spinoff Secret Agent Clank in some secret, undisclosed way".
While no other information was revealed, sometimes a confirmation is just what fans need. Keep checking back here at QJ.NET for official statements from the developers and Sony regarding the matter.

Frank Simon, a senior producer on Secret Agent Clank, wanted to provide a quick update on the game since it was recently introduced.
Frank has just returned to the states after his most recent trip to TGS and suffering jet lag that always seems to accompany such trips. Hopefully, this entry will make some sense. As you may have read, Sony announced Secret Agent Clank, an original PSP title coming out next year from the development team at High Impact Games, at the media cocktail party during TGS. Sony is finally giving Clank his time in the spotlight.

Additional details on Secret Agent Clank were revealed at the Tokyo Game Show. This title marks Ratchet's robot sidekick's first starring role in his own adventure. The game begins with Ratchet thrown in jail for a crime he didnt commit.
