Hackers took a few months off after taking down the PlayStation Network and a number of other websites, but it appears their vacation is over. Only a week after defacing the Steam forums and digging into users' personal information, hackers have apparently targeted MyResistance and GlobalResistance, two Resistance websites run by Sony...
As was originally revealed by developers Insomniac Games earlier this month, the official community site for the Resistance videogame franchise was taken down last week to make way for a brand new redesign. Now available once more, the website offers much more in the way of direct communication between the development team and their audience.
Conflicting Gamers - Resistance was the FIRST franchise game for the PS3. Its spawned numerous sequels across many platforms. One of the first of those sequels was Resistance: Retribution for the PSP and Amazon has got a great deal on it! I myself never got to play this, but from what I hear, its definitely worth a play-through. And now, for a limited time, you can pick up a copy of Resistance: Retribution for the PSP for only $9.98 with FREE SHIPPING! Quite a deal if you ask me.
CVG: Insomniac Games has signed a deal with EA Partners to create a franchise for both PS3 and Xbox 360.
Following the revelation of the PSP Essentials range and the two new additions to the PlayStation 3 Platinum range last week, a number of new titles have been confirmed for a re-release as part of the Platinum range on PlayStation Portable (PSP). The Platinum range consists of games which have seen significant popularity re-branded and offered at a greatly reduced price.
A thrifty gamer is a happy gamer so we've scoured the Sunday ads to find the best video game deals for this week from local stores for the Playstation 3, PSP, Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii, Nintendo DS, and PC for the week of April 25, 2010.
For those of you like me out there, most PSP games are not worth $40 when you can get PS3 or 360 games new, especially during the holiday season, for $40 and play them on a big screen and in HD. Toys R Us has a sale on Resistance: Retribution for $14.99 so this may be the time to pick it up. If you don't have a Toys R Us near you don't fret, almost every store including Best Buy, Target and Wal Mart does price matching. If you can't get your hands on the ad here is a link to it and hopefully they will honor it. Resistance Retribution interacts with Resistance 2 to unlock some cool features.
WorthPlaying contacted SCEA to find out if it planned to match the PSPgo Rewards program announced by SCEE this morning and was told that Sony had no plans at this time to match the European offer.
