Shiny new screens show off this tactical RPG's big guns

Not content with beating us down with its brutal difficulty level in arcades and consoles, the R-Type series is making a move towards the tactical RPG genre, one turn at a time. We just scored some shiny new screenshots of R-Type Command and so far, they’re looking pretty sweet.

R-Type Command is currently scheduled to release on May 6. In the meantime, check out our review of the imported version here.
