With PSN finally clambering back to its feet (slightly shakily, but it's getting there), Sony has announced the contents of its 'Welcome Back' package. Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) has revealed a new range of videogame titles launching at retailers across Europe next month for the PlayStation Portable (PSP). The summer promotion, known as PSP Essentials, features a number of classic PSP titles at a new, lower price.
WorthPlaying contacted SCEA to find out if it planned to match the PSPgo Rewards program announced by SCEE this morning and was told that Sony had no plans at this time to match the European offer. There hasn't been any announcement yet that there will be an equivalent rewards program for North America...
As you'd expect, Pursuit Force: Extreme Justice is bigger and better. You now get to toy with a wider range of vehicles, such as a helicopter, a hovercraft, jet-skis, and a bike and sidecar combo, while those you're able to jump between now include trains, tanks, and aeroplanes. Second time round, the Pursuit Force team has grown to accommodate another four recruits: Ash (special ops), Gage (high-speed support), Preach (heavy assault) and the less exotically named Sarah (air support).
