31 Aug 2007 Being one of the few hugely devoted Simpson's fans that religiously watches back to back episodes on cable TV every night, buys the box sets and regularly attempts to defend the recent series lack of form on the pretence they usually have at least one laugh out loud Homer moment, we've been rooting for a decent Simpsons game for years. Having to put up with people claiming that Hit 'n' Run was a 'good' Simpsons game (no it wasn't) was bad enough but the fact it turned out to be ... » Read More

What did surprise us, in a very pleasant way, was the solution Guerilla came up with - switching to an isometric, third-person view - and how well the resulting game plays after such a drastic overhaul. The controls, thanks ... » Read More

Compared to EA's newest racing acquisition Burnout, the last Need for Speed outing was a little underwhelming. While it sold well to those gamers who prefer to spend their money on fully established, 'safe' buys, Need for Speed wasn't anywhere near Burnout's level. However, thanks to the new graphical splendour bestowed upon this new iteration by the advanced power of Xbox 360 (or should we say, ), NFS has been given a new lease of life. Everything's just so much more intricately detailed ... » Read More
