Joystiq: Patapon 2 is finally coming to the PSP in North America. While associate producer Chris Hinojosa-Miranda couldn't precisely explain why the title has taken so long to reach its final destination, he did say that the added time provided more focus on localization and translation. (Even still, we manged to spot a few lingering instances of "Engrish.")

For the second year running, the Xbox 360 is the king of consoles. Barely edging out the impressive PS3, the swanky new dash and the amazing exclusives like Gears of War 2 and Fable 2 put Microsoft over the top. The Wii's casual focus didn't garner it any votes this year.
The loveable Patapon are getting 100% more huggable thanks to Medicom Toy, the company that makes Kubrick collectibles. Sometime later this month Rolito's creation is going to be sold as a plush doll in Japan for 3,990 yen ($42) each. At that price the stuffed Patapon isn't really a stocking stuffer since you can purchase Patapon or digitally import Patapon 2 for less.
Sony Computer Entertainment America (SCEA) is giving away more Patapon goods with the Path of the Warrior Sweepstakes. Be up on your knowledge of Patapon, as you will be asked 8 questions relating to the PSP game. You can always guess again if you get any wrong.

The juiciest tidbit from the April issue of EGM is kind of a bummer: A Crackdown sequel looks like it won't happen any time soon. Do you believe in magic JUJU? You'll have to if you want to survive through Patapon ¿ but more importantly you'll need to know where to find it ¿ and how to identify it.
