Warns that leaked code of upcoming PSP title is incomplete

Sony Computer Entertainment UK has condemned the leaking of forthcoming PSP title Gangs of London to the internet, after copies of an internal beta of the game appeared on BitTorrent sites overnight.

Speaking to GamesIndustry.biz, Sony spokesman David Wilson also warned consumers that the leaked version is incomplete and buggy.

Sony released Firmware 2.71 for the Sony PSP in Japan.

The new PSP firmware allows you to download game demos directly from the PSP web browser onto the memory stick. Currently available are the LocoRoco demo and a demo of Kazou (Sudoku game).

See, we hate Brett Ratner. Well, no, we don't hate the person. We're sure he's a perfectly nice man. But we hate everything he's ever put on film from Money Talks to X3 aka Brett Ratner's First-Person Theatrical Abortion. ... You know what? Forget what we said, we do hate Brett Ratner as a person. To help get the game into the minds of PSP gamers -- and peel them away from Monster Hunter -- a special event was held last Friday in Tokyo. There were 15 booths where people could try out the game, tons of free swag such as keychains and t-shirts, and specially crafted drinks made from goat blood, harpy milk, and cyclops sweat were served. Sony is running a God of War Machinima competition. Gamers can head over to the God of War Machinima website and use the God of War online editing suite to create their own God of War Machinima. You can choose from a large library of clips, text, effect, music and you can even add your own voice to the video using a microphone, headphones or speaker.

After you have completed your video, you can publish it and embed it to your social networking pages as well as upload it to the God of War gallery so gamers from around the world can view it.

By registering on the site and submitting your video before the 19th of May, you stand a chance to win prizes including a PSP, a copy of God of War: Chains of Olympus, an exclusive God of War artwork print, God of War T-shirts as well as Kratos action figures.

The Dutch website InsideGamer has held a competition in order to find the best Dutch Kratos. This week, visitors can choose between six regular guys who all have been transformed into Kratos.
