Developed by SCEE's Studio Liverpool, WipEout Pulse brings with it 24 new tracks, futuristic ships, high-tech weapons and seven game modes. The game includes an all-new Training section which introduces the player to how the game plays, covering ship handling, weapons and more.

Eight racing teams are now featured, including the new EG-X outfit, and tracks now include the brand-new Mag-Strip feature causing ships to become temporarily locked to the track's surface. This new features enables a huge variety of track design including loops, vertical drops and 90 degree angled sections.

Sony Computer Entertainment has officially revealed the sequel to last year's excellent Wipeout Pure. It's Wipeout Pulse, and will be arriving on the shiny handheld later this year. We've unearthed some new PSP screens for Worms Open Warfare, the special handheld edition of the classic 2D Worms, which wriggles onto PSP and DS this March ... at least in the UK.
