PSP News from N4G | Wipeout Pulse
PSP - Wipeout Pulse - Sony Computer Entertainment Europe has announced WipEout Pulse for release on PSP in September. Developed by SCEE's Studio Liverpool, WipEout Pulse brings with it 24 new tracks, futuristic ships, high-tech weapons and seven game modes. The game includes an all-new Training section which introduces the player to how the game plays, covering ship handling, weapons and more.

Eight racing teams are now featured, including the new EG-X outfit, and tracks now include the brand-new Mag-Strip feature causing ships to become temporarily locked to the track's surface. This new features enables a huge variety of track design including loops, vertical drops and 90 degree angled sections.

PSP - Wipeout Pure - PSPgo - No Free Game Downloads Planned for North America WorthPlaying contacted SCEA to find out if it planned to match the PSPgo Rewards program announced by SCEE this morning and was told that Sony had no plans at this time to match the European offer.

Sony Computer Entertainment has officially revealed the sequel to last year's excellent Wipeout Pure. It's Wipeout Pulse, and will be arriving on the shiny handheld later this year. Pulse is spec'd with 24 new race tracks over seven familiar game modes, along with the addition of a new team the EG-X. PSP News | Worms Open Warfare
We've unearthed some new PSP screens for Worms Open Warfare, the special handheld edition of the classic 2D Worms, which wriggles onto PSP and DS this March ... at least in the UK. We've already had a peek at the DS version of the game, which looks great, and these PSP screens don't look too bad either. All our favorite oddball gadgets are there, including the exploding sheep, grappling hook and nasty Hell level. We'll be going hands-on with Worms Open Warfare soon to see if it's as much fun ...
