PlayStation.com forum user StalkingSilence found more hidden information on SCEE's website regarding the upcoming PlayStation Day on May 6, 2008. The event page set up for the site, but currently not linked to anywhere else, displays several games related to the invite-only press event.

PlayStation 3 title Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction from Insomniac Games has just been released recently. As you all know, another entry in the franchise will be coming in 2008 to PlayStation Portable gamers in the form of Secret Agent Clank.

The Sony handheld title is being developed by High Impact Games. Now, we know fans of the franchise have dreamed hundreds of times before if the two titles will have some sort of connectivity or "talk to each other", as Sony lovingly calls it.

Well, you're dreams will be coming true according to Insomniac Games Creative Director Brian Allgeier. MTV reported on Allgeier's statements, "There are some less apparent bullet points to note about Tools of Destruction. It will connect to the 2008 PSP spinoff Secret Agent Clank in some secret, undisclosed way".

Frank Simon, a senior producer on Secret Agent Clank, wanted to provide a quick update on the game since it was recently introduced.

Frank has just returned to the states after his most recent trip to TGS and suffering jet lag that always seems to accompany such trips. Hopefully, this entry will make some sense. As you may have read, Sony announced Secret Agent Clank, an original PSP title coming out next year from the development team at High Impact Games, at the media cocktail party during TGS. Video game publisher D3 has three licenced titles coming out in the upcoming future and they had all three of them at E3 this year. The games are all based upon popular cartoons.

The first title D3 showed the Game Guys was the platformer "Astro Boy: The Video Game". Originally based on the 1952 manga by Osamu Tezuka, "Astro Boy: The Video Game" allows players to take the roll of the title character and takes its inspiration from the upcoming feature-legnth film Astro Boy.
