"EA has announced a release date for Need For Speed Shift – one of the three new Need for Speed titles aiming to reinvigorate the series. Shift will be released in Europe on September 17, while North Americans will see the title arrive five days later.

EA describes Shift as an "all-new authentic racing game in the Need for Speed series", which the publisher also claims will deliver a "true driver's experience" on authentic racing tracks."
