While continuing to dig around for a solid answer on the PSP version of Echochrome I spoke to Scott Goryl, a Public Relations Specialist from SCEA, who told me Echochrome is actually on target for a Spring release in North America. However, this date is currently only for the PlayStation 3 version. They are evaluating the PSP version and if they will bring it to North America or not. (This is consistent with the earlier report I wrote up.)
The PSP version of Echochrome costs twice as much as the PS3 version, but Siliconera explains there is reason for the extra money. All of the answers are found over at Impress Watch (Japanese).
Gamernode: The unique puzzle game, Echochrome, will land in Japan on March 19th. It will be available both as a PlayStation Network download for the PS3 and in UMD form.

Oblivion was unveiled for PSP a good year or so ago but it's been a long time since we've heard anything about it. To be honest, we thought it'd been whacked a long time ago.
Kotaku received a few tips from readers today who have been contacted by their local Gamestop drones bringing them bad news-The Elder Scrolls Travels: Oblivion has been canceled for the PSP. Rumors about the game's cancellation have been swirling since... well, since it didn't ship in the Spring of 2007 as previously planned. However, strong rumors indicating that the game was finally kaput were hinted at this summer.
Rumor has it that Bethesda has mothballed, or perhaps even permanently canned the Oblivion destined for the Playstation portable. According to rumblings, Climax'x Portsmouth team, which was working for the game, has been recently plagued with major production problems and was running increasingly late.
