PlayStation LifeStyle writes, "In just over a week, PlayStation LifeStyle will be reporting live from the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3). We've been trying to get a handle on the plethora of PlayStation games that will be on display from June 2 through June 4, and it's quite astounding. If you weren't excited about the prospect of new announcements for the PlayStation brand, what if we told you there will be over 75 unique PlayStation games on display - that we know about?! While many are multiplatform titles (though the best still appear to be Sony-exclusive), it is a large increase from last year's showing."
Gamer Limit writes: "As I've previously mentioned, Atlus is pouring out interesting portable releases this year like nobody's business. Their latest title for the PSP, named Class of Heroes, is a 1st person dungeon crawler that boasts deep character progression and customization.
Neocrisis: Atlus U.S.A., Inc. today announced that Class of Heroes, the upcoming first-person dungeon crawler for PSP® (PlayStation®Portable) system, will be delayed until June 9th. The anticipated RPG, an homage to the genre classics, promises to bring expansive character and party customization options and deep, involved dungeon crawling to PSP system owners across North America.
The Portable Gamer writes:
Atlus U.S.A. has announced that it has secured the North American publishing rights for Class of Heroes for PSP, a dungeon-crawling RPG in the great tradition of first-person adventures like Etrian Odyssey.
Atlus just keeps on pumping out the RPGs! They just announced their latest addition to the PSP library entitled Class of Heroes. Coming this April, the game has you playing a character who is enrolled in a school for adventurers.
As E3 is a-coming, we expected to have a more barren list of releases for this week. It seems that we were quite wrong about that. New games include anime platforming coming from the big-headed kids of Code Lyoko. NCAA 2009 represents the sports games, meanwhile Go! Explore device finally out in Europe.
The Game Factory today announced the PS2 and PSP versions of Code Lyoko: Quest for Infinity will be released during June 2008. Developed by Neko Entertainment, Code Lyoko is based on the popular 3D animated action-adventure television series about a group of students who uncover a parallel universe called Lyoko inside a super-computer that is threatened by a virus that could destroy the universe. Four ordinary students, Jeremy, Odd, Ulrich and Yumi, must help a virtual humanoid creature named "Aelita" to stop rogue computer XANA's latest attack on their real world.
