Sony's dragon-themed aerial combat game, Lair, has become the first PS3 Blu-Ray game to allow full gameplay on the PSP via Remote Connection.
Remote Connection is a feature built into the PSP and PS3 that allows you to access your PS3 via the handheld - but it hasn't previously allowed you to play PS3 games remotely, only access to your stored music and video.
The main reason for the restriction, we expect, was because Remote Play requires the PS3 to stream the video and sound
You wouldn't believe the smiles spreading around here when LucasArts announced plans for an Indiana Jones LEGO game. It's the one series of movies (after Star Wars) that we've been itching to see brought to the world of plastic bricks.
We know the game will cover all three existing Indiana Jones movies, but to date we've only been given a sneak glimpse of scenes from the films that will make the transition to the LEGO world.
So, putting on our dirty brown fedora and pretending we're hot shit
The recently released Resident Evil 5 trailer is currently causing a storm of debate across the internet after one critic - a single, solitary person writing on a blog - fingered the game as being racist in its depiction of black people as "inhuman savages" and for the fact that a white man in military clothing is employed to destroy them. It's an interesting opinion, certainly, but one that we happen to think is wrong.
While a cursory glance at Resident Evil 5 may give the impression that
LucasArts has unveiled LEGO Indiana Jones: The Videogame (working title) and you can see the first trailer of the game right here.
Developed by Traveller's Tales (the same team responsible for LEGO Star Wars) LEGO Indy will be very much along the same piss-taking lines based on the first three Indy movies (not the fourth). Just in case you didn't buy the box set as soon as it came out, that includes Raiders of the Lost Ark, Temple of Doom and Last Crusade.

LucasArts has announced that everyone's favorite professor of antiquities, Indiana Jones, is receiving the LEGO treatment for summer 2008. The game's first trailer shows that LEGO Indy will use the drop-in drop-out feature for co-op gameplay that made the LEGO Star Wars series so enjoyable. But who else besides Indy would we really want to play as?
Here, in no particular order, are eight characters from the Indiana Jones trilogy that we think would make the best “buddies” in the
Sony's annual E3 press conference opened with what could have been the biggest reveal of the entire show if it hadn't been leaked last week: the new $499 price of the PS3, as well as the introduction of a new $599 model that comes with an 80GB hard drive and a copy of online-enabled dirt racer Motorstorm. This left biggy-wig Jack Tretton (who began the event speaking through his character in the PS3 virtual world Home) to launch right into the publisher's game-centric, four-part
In what must be a record time, Sony has responded to PSP hacker's latest efforts to subvert the handheld's security and play unsigned software and pirate games.
Just days ago, hackers released an exploit that allowed PSP owners to use a copy of the puzzle game Lumines to downgrade their PSPs to an earlier version of the firmware, which was vulnerable to further hacking and homebrew applications.
Sony has just released PSP firmware version 3.51, which closes the holes in the PSP's security,
Originally announced in a press release back in May 2006 for PC and next-gen consoles, the game tie-in to cult TV show Lost has been mysteriously enigmatic since with not a single screenshot or piece of game information being released.
In fact, we'd probably have forgotten about it almost entirely had Ubisoft boss Yves Guillemot not mentioned it was still very much in development to a room full of journalists at a press conference last month. Strange then, that Lost is absent from Ubisoft's

LocoRoco 2 will launch for PSP on 17 October, with PSP's Pursuit Force Extreme Justice appearing in September and Syphon Filter sequel Logan's Shadow also hitting in October, making this autumn a bumper season for Sony's handheld.
The dates come from an official-looking Sony release schedule, unearthed by NeoGaf forumites. The list also features a decent line-up of autumnal hits for both PS2 and PS3. On PlayStation 2, Syphon Filter Dark Mirror is set for a 12 September
We're still 99 percent in the dark where LEGO Batman is concerned, but first artwork released suggests that the Dark Knight's sidekick Robin will be appearing alongside Bats in the game.
Look at the art - how cool is that?
What's currently confirmed about LEGO Batman is that a) it's being developed by LEGO Star Wars developers Traveller's Tales, b) is heading to multiple platforms and c) is due out in 2008. We can't wait. Seriously.
And we'll add a d), e) and the rest of the alphabet as soon
