So there we were, lounging in the bar of our hotel in Santa Monica, sipping daiquiris and enjoying the live musical noodlings of the Cross Heart Jazz Experience when David Silverman, the director of The Simpsons Movie, strolls in with a honking great tuba slung over his shoulder and joins the band for a head-nodding, chin-stroking jazzmatazz of sweet, sweet ear sex. A 2008 release has been given for console and handheld versions of Sid Meier's Civilization Revolution, which is being developed by Firaxis Games.

A new Sega Rally game is being developed specifically for the PSP and will be released this September to coincide with the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC versions. The game will be simply called “Sega Rally,” like its home-console siblings. And, as if the announcement wasn't enough to get arcade driving fans hot under the brake pads, it's been revealed that it will feature online play and Wi-Fi multiplayer link-up too.
