PSP - Monster Hunter Freedom - Monster Hunter helps boosts Capcom profits Monster Hunter Tri and Resident Evil 5 have helped Capcom's profits rise 58.4 per cent to JPY 2.9 billion.

For the six months ended September 30, sales were up 24.5 per cent, to JPY 38.8 billion, with over a million Monster Hunter Tri sales, and the continued strong performance of Monster Hunter Freedom Unite for the PSP.

PSP - Monster Hunter Freedom - Capcom Reveals Public Gathering Space for Monster Hunter Freedom Unite Yesterday, at the MCM Expo in London, Capcom revealed a grand plan for the forthcoming Monster Hunter Freedom Unite and the existing line of Monster Hunter titles. With an incredibly casual demonstration of the four-player hunts available in the new PlayStation Portable (PSP) release, Capcom subtly delivered the news of a more permanent space.

PSP - Monster Hunter Freedom - Capcom set to 'get serious' on Monster Hunter's European marketing Japanese publisher Capcom is set to ramp up promotion for its Monster Hunter series in Europe, in an attempt to ape the success of the series in the East.

The producer of the PSP Monster Hunter titles, which outsold Wii Fit and Pokémon Diamond in Japan last year, has told MCV that Capcom will focus on promoting the brand before the next title is released in the PAL territories.
