adhocParty for the PSP system is a service which enables PSP owners to play online multiplayer games featuring Adhoc mode over the internet through the PlayStation 3. PSP titles with Adhoc mode traditionally require users to play within close proximity to each other over Wi-Fi, but with adhocParty for the PSP, PSP owners can play anyone in the world through the PlayStation Network.

Capcom has promised that further Capcom PSP titles will support this feature in the future...

"This week might just be the largest update the PS Store has ever had. Most of the content will be geared toward the PSP, to ready for the launch of the PSPgo. However the PS3 is still getting plenty of content, namely a few demos and a few downloadable games. Also don't forget to to download the Uncharted 2 demo, which is available in the PS Store now."

"While the choice between Pangya and Monster Hunter boils down to personal preference, it's not a stretch to lean towards Monster Hunter simply for the franchise's pedigree and the sheer volume of gameplay. Grindfest or not, it looks outstanding, but only if you have a couple friends to join up with from time to time."

Thousands of gamers, anime fans and cosplayers of widely varying quality descended on ExCel, an exhibition centre in London, for one of the biggest events in the collective industrys' calendar today, the 15th MCM Expo. Running for two days, 23rd May and 24th May 2009, those few Electronic Theatre readers who managed to miss today's show may just have enough time to organise the necessary travelling arrangements, and grab that Bomberman outfit they've been saving for a special occasion.
With an incredibly casual demonstration of the four-player hunts available in the new PlayStation Portable (PSP) release, Capcom subtly delivered the news of a more permanent space.
We've been trying to get a handle on the plethora of PlayStation games that will be on display from June 2 through June 4, and it's quite astounding. If you weren't excited about the prospect of new announcements for the PlayStation brand, what if we told you there will be over 75 unique PlayStation games on display - that we know about?! While many are multiplatform titles (though the best still appear to be Sony-exclusive), it is a large increase from last year's showing."
