The main man behind Metal Gear Solid, Hideo Kojima, delivered an impassioned speech at the Konami press conference this evening. He exclaimed his love for the conference, his desire to come this year even though it's lame, and expressed hope for the rebirth of the full-blown show next year. Praising it as a melting pot of world game culture, he received cheers from the audience.
