Following last Monday's price drop the PS3 is top of this week's Amazon.com best sellers list while Resistance: Fall of Man tops the software chart. Patched Lumines In The Wild? (News)

0okm is reporting on a rumor that suggests the Japanese "Greatest Hits" versions of Lumines have been patched to require Firmware 3.51.

It's unknown if the actual exploit has been patched, or if Firmware 3.51 was just slapped on the disc. If the latter, it may still be possible to downgrade using this disc.

Until more is known, you might want to stick to the used game bins for Lumines now.

Can anyone help MaxConsole piece this together? Lumines on the PSP has risen from a sales rank of 796 a short while ago to number 6 just now and is up a massive 13,166% in terms of sales. Oh wait, maybe Noobz' PSP universal firmware exploit has something to do with it...
